I am constantly amazed at the growth of The Oil Change, my daily spiritual thought that is sent out via email. Every week, more people sign up for it (and yes, a few unsubscribe).

I really enjoy your daily devotional “Oil Change”. It has enabled to pick up a challenge issued by our senior Pastor two years ago. The Pastor challenged all the fathers two years ago with a Father’s day challenge. That was to daily read the Word. Well in two years I have had two days where I did nor read any scripture. To a great extent I thank you, because every morning when I wake up I grab two things , my coffee and my “oil change”. Txs

I wanted to tell you about how your devotional has encouraged me. I signed up several months ago and for a long time read it every day; then I got sidetracked and didn’t read it like I should have.
Then in the past few weeks, a bad situation, involving my family and another family, has gotten worse; it almost got unbearable day before yesterday.
During my prayers this morning, I told God that I was going to make a better effort to read my Bible, and I then opened today’s Oil Change.
I’m sure you can guess the rest- the scripture and devotional spoke directly to me and almost broke my heart- God loves me so much that He had you write something directly for me.
I was blogging about it this morning, and checked for a link so others could sign up for Oil Change and found your blog. Just wanted to say thank you for obeying God.
